Details of Disappearance:
Shariece (a teenager) and her mother, Joanna, vanished from their Baltimore home on February 4, 2017. They were last seen separately. Shariece was babysitting her younger siblings when Joanna’s abusive ex-boyfriend, Dennis “Demo” Queen, visited. He claimed Shariece left around 2:30-3:00 PM. Her phone was later detected downtown, but no one saw her. Joanna, after a date, was last seen around 11:00 PM near her home.

Queen, who was at the house, said he was drunk and asleep until around 11:15 PM when someone entered, but he couldn’t remember who. Both Joanna and Shariece were gone when he woke up. Queen didn’t report them missing and offered no explanation for their disappearance. $800 in cash was also missing.

Joanna and Queen had a violent history; Queen abused and stalked Joanna for years, even abusing Shariece. A restraining order against Queen was in place, yet Joanna allowed him to watch the children. Shariece hated Queen and had recently reported his sexual advances to Joanna. Joanna had told Queen to leave their home on February 4th – the day they disappeared.

Neither woman has used social media or their phones since. Joanna’s loved ones say she would never abandon her children, and Shariece had never run away. The younger children are in foster care and haven’t offered clues.

Queen’s brother took a lie detector test, but the results were inconclusive. Queen refused to take one. Police suspect foul play but lack direct evidence, and the case remains unsolved.
