- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Sharon had three temporary caps or dentures installed in place of her upper four front teeth in December 2001 as the result of an accident. Her ears are pierced.
- Details of Disappearance:
- In 2001, Sharon lived in Perinton, New York, with her three kids. She was divorcing her husband, Alan, and had a protection order against him after he assaulted her in 2000.
On December 9th, 2001, Sharon told her mom she’d pick up the children from Alan’s later that day. After shopping and dinner with a friend, she went home around 5:00 p.m. That’s the last time anyone saw her.
When she didn’t show up for work on December 10th, her family reported her missing. Alan said Sharon asked him to keep the kids for the weekend and that he dropped them off at school on the 10th.
Sharon’s van was found abandoned at a Days Inn motel on December 12th. There was blood inside, but it’s unclear if it was hers.
Police are also looking for a Jamaican man, about 5’7″ tall with scars, who may be connected to the case, but he’s not a suspect.
Sharon’s disappearance is considered suspicious, and the case remains unsolved.
