- In April 2001, Kimyala Henson and her daughters, Sausha and Shaina Kirkpatrick, left Portland, Oregon, for a trip to Canada with Kimyala’s friend, Christina Mayer, and Mayer’s “husband,” Curtis. However, “Curtis” was actually Frank Oehring, a dangerous fugitive from Missouri wanted for attempted murder and allegedly connected to a satanic group. Mayer was also reportedly involved.
The group stopped in California; Kimyala got her birth certificate (possibly tricked into it by Mayer and Oehring). After that, the girls vanished.
On April 20th, Oehring and Mayer were found dead in Florida – a murder-suicide. Oehring’s letters revealed their plan to steal Kimyala’s identity. Kimyala’s body was found later in Nevada; she’d been murdered. A bloody hatchet in their car had Kimyala’s blood, but not the girls’.
Motel records show Oehring and Mayer were alone in Florida. The girls’ car seats and birth certificates are missing. Police don’t know what happened to Sausha and Shaina – whether they were harmed or given away – and their disappearance remains a mystery.
