- Jones disappeared on the evening of August 25, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was driving a red 2016 Mazda 6 (license plate DHB-5791) that belonged to her roommate. No one has heard from her since.
Two days later, her roommate reported her missing. Strangely, six days after she vanished, Jones used her roommate’s credit card to buy a monthly car wash pass at a place on Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte. She never went back to the car wash.
A few days after that, her roommate’s car was found abandoned about 200 miles away in Summerville, South Carolina, on an interstate highway ramp. Jones wasn’t there.
No one knows what happened to her.
