Details of Disappearance:
Mary Cronin vanished from Tamuning, Guam on March 4, 1995. She was supposed to meet friends but never showed up. Her family didn’t report her missing until months later.

Cronin was a successful businesswoman, owning property and businesses in Guam. Her husband, a lawyer, initially reported her missing but then claimed to be in Europe, causing the police to temporarily close the case. Her children knew she wasn’t in Europe, so the investigation restarted.

While Cronin sometimes took surprise trips, she always contacted her family. This time, she didn’t. Her son searched for her in Guam but found nothing. The family offered a reward. Her employees said her sudden disappearance was unusual.

Police thoroughly searched for her, but found no record of her leaving Guam. Because she hasn’t contacted anyone or used her money since 1995, and because she was last seen near a newly-built swimming pool, police suspect foul play and think she might be buried there.

Although some records list her disappearance as happening in Mountain View, California (where she also had a home), the main focus of the investigation is Guam. The case remains unsolved.
