- Soomaiiah vanished from Quincy, Massachusetts in April 2001. People think she left the U.S. and may have traveled to the United Arab Emirates, India, and England in early 2002. After that, she might have lived in Pakistan (Karachi, Lahore, or near Muree), Lebanon (near Junieh), or Syria (An Nabk).
Years later, her father told her mother she was dead, but offered no proof. Her mother still hopes Soomaiiah is alive. The disappearance is still a mystery.
