- Pruett disappeared from his parents’ home in Sparta, Ohio on January 5, 1988. He’d recently divorced and was living with them. His parents left for the store, and when they came back, Pruett was gone. Someone may have seen him in Columbus, Ohio, in May 1988, but it’s not certain. Police still haven’t figured out what happened to him.
