- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Brown hair, hazel eyes. Hamshire has a birthmark on his right wrist. He appears to be much younger than his actual age. Hamshire may have four to five days’ growth of facial hair. His hair was cut in a Beatle style at the time of his disappearance.
- Details of Disappearance:
- On March 24, 2007, Hamshire left his home in Silsbee, Texas, for a walk. He was possibly wearing a Walkman and headphones. This was a regular thing for him. He disappeared and has never been seen or heard from since.
Search dogs followed his trail to Highway 327 near the Village Creek Bridge, but they didn’t find him. Even though he had some challenges, Hamshire was very capable and independent. He loved reading, movies, electronics, and music. He also followed a strict daily routine, so his disappearance is very unusual. He and his parents had moved to Silsbee from Austin in 2005. The mystery of what happened to him remains unsolved.
