- Details of Disappearance:
- Suzanne disappeared sometime in December 1978. Eight months later, in July 1979, she called her family from Tampa, Florida, saying she was with Stephen Craig Lund. Both Suzanne and Stephen were supposed to return home—Stephen on July 4th and Suzanne on August 4th—but neither showed up.
Stephen, who was about 32 years old, 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall, and 130-150 pounds, was a Caucasian man with black hair, hazel eyes, and distinctive tattoos: an 8-ball on his right arm, a bulldog on his right bicep, and a skunk on his left arm. No photos of him exist.
In September 1979, their U-Haul truck was found abandoned in Chicago. Neither Suzanne nor Stephen has been seen or heard from since, and their disappearance remains a mystery.
