Justis’s hair was long at the time in her disappearance, unlike the way it’s shown in the photographs above.
Details of Disappearance:: Justis disappeared on November 5, 1973. She called her mom from Portland, Oregon, saying she’d be in Eugene, Oregon, the next day to get her son from school. She might have planned to hitchhike. Her mom even booked her a hotel room in Portland, but Justis never showed up at the hotel or in Eugene. No one has seen or heard from her since. Strangely, the police weren’t told she was missing until 1989. Her mother passed away in 2012, and her obituary said Justis had died before her. There’s not much information about what happened to Justis.
