Details of Disappearance:
On December 4, 2004, a man named Barnard disappeared from Boise, Idaho. He left his young son with the boy’s mother at a McDonald’s around 7:00 pm and was supposed to see his son again the next morning, but never showed up. His last phone call was at 7:15 pm that day, and his car was found at home.

Barnard worked in several different jobs—he was a gun dealer, a DJ at strip clubs, and sometimes carried weapons. The day before he vanished, he talked about becoming a chauffeur. He also had a warrant out for his arrest for assault, and was involved in a custody battle with his son’s mother and a fight with his business partner. Interestingly, another man, Jeramy Burt, also disappeared from Boise (in 2007), and they knew some of the same people.

While police found no signs of foul play in Barnard’s apartment, his unusual lifestyle and the fact that he disappeared without a trace, leaving behind his pets, make his case suspicious. It’s still unsolved. He might be driving a green 1995 Land Rover or Range Rover with temporary Idaho plates.
