Details of Disappearance:: A man named Alferov vanished from Cincinnati in June 2001. Six years later, in May 2007, his bones were discovered wrapped in a blanket beside a road in Warren County, Ohio. The bones were so old that plants had grown up between them. It wasn’t until September 2009 that they were identified using DNA from his sister in Russia. Police think Alferov was killed by a blow to the head and that he probably knew whoever did it. They have a suspect, but no one has been arrested.
