- Details of Disappearance:
- Alice disappeared from Fort Campbell, Kentucky, around 1974 or 1975. She lived there with her husband, Lee, a soldier, and their two young children (ages 5 and 6). Lee wasn’t the children’s father. Alice vanished, leaving behind her car and clothes.
One day, the kids were left alone at school. They walked home to find Lee sweaty and upset, saying he’d been asleep. Alice was gone. Lee wouldn’t let the kids in their room and made them sleep with him. A few days later, he took them to their grandparents in Arkansas and never came back.
Lee claims he contacted the police, and Alice’s parents tried to report her missing, but a formal police report wasn’t filed until 2013. Alice’s children suspect Lee killed her, but he’s never been charged, and he says she just left. Alice had family in several states: Arkansas, Indiana, Florida, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. Her disappearance remains a mystery.
