- Details of Disappearance:
- Medina disappeared from her Santa Monica home sometime around mid-June 2007. She lived with her son, and when she didn’t come back, he didn’t report her missing until July 2nd because he thought she was visiting family. She left everything behind – her car, passport, wallet, and even her keys.
Police initially thought she might have left with a man named Rodrigo, but they found him and he didn’t know where she was. He wasn’t involved.
No one knows for sure what happened. There were a few reported sightings of her in Santa Monica after she vanished, but nothing recent. Her son said she would never disappear like this; she was fine mentally and had no enemies. While police don’t suspect foul play, the mystery of her disappearance remains unsolved.
