- Romedy disappeared from her apartment in Rincon, Georgia on February 28, 2002. Her daughter saw her watching TV around 9 pm, but she was gone the next morning. Romedy’s phone, jacket, jewelry, and medicine were all left behind, but her car (a red or burgundy 1997 Plymouth Breeze) and a Dale Earnhardt cap were missing.
Her car was found a mile away, but it offered no clues. Police suspect foul play. Romedy’s boyfriend is uncooperative and refuses a lie detector test. Her family believes she’s dead and that someone they knew is responsible. Tragically, her oldest son died in a car accident four months later. The case remains a mystery.
