- Kent went fishing alone in the Gulf of Mexico on August 26, 2011, from Gulf Breeze, Florida. He was on his big boat, a 36-foot Boston Whaler named “Monkey Bar II.” He didn’t come back, and his family reported him missing two days later, on August 28th.
