- On June 28, 2001, Sallet disappeared after leaving her job at the Cody Bag Company in Pearson, Georgia, at 11:00 p.m. Nobody has heard from her since.
Four days later, her car was found empty on Highway 64, north of Pearson. The car had gas in the tank, the keys were inside, and a window was down. It was parked on the side of the road, facing away from town. Sallet wasn’t there.
Police think something bad happened to her, but they haven’t solved the mystery.
