- Little Amena disappeared from South Orange, New Jersey on January 22, 2006. Her dad, Mohammed El Sayed (his last name might also be spelled El Seyed or Elseyed), took her. He didn’t have legal custody of her.
Police issued warrants for Mohammed’s arrest: one in January 2006, and another from the FBI in September 2006 because he ran away. A picture of Mohammed is available. He was 38 years old at the time, about 5’4″ tall and 170 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a scar on his index finger.
Amena and Mohammed are thought to have gone to Saudi Arabia in June 2006. They might still be there, or possibly in Egypt. No one knows where Amena is now, and the case is still open.
