- Amy disappeared from Greensboro, North Carolina on December 7, 1990. She stepped out of her house on Liberty Road for a short walk and vanished. All her belongings were left behind.
While Amy had run away before (four times) to be with her boyfriend, this time was different. She hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Her family checked with her boyfriend, but she wasn’t there. There were a few possible sightings afterward, but none were confirmed. She hasn’t used her Social Security number, gotten a driver’s license, or any ID since then. Amy went to Dudley Open School, a special school, in 1990. The police haven’t solved her disappearance.
