Details of Disappearance:
Andrea disappeared from Louisville, Kentucky. On the evening of August 12th, she was with her sister Sarah’s fiancé, Ethan Bates, and her nephew at a McDonald’s. Bates then took her to the hospital for a facial injury. Around 11:22 pm, she took a Lyft to her mother’s house (which was under renovation; Andrea, Sarah, and Bates were living there temporarily). Her sons were staying with their fathers that night.

Around 12:15 am on August 13th, Andrea argued with another sister at her sister’s house and walked back to her mother’s house around 1:54 am, but didn’t go inside. This is the last time anyone saw her. Her phone was active at the house until 6:31 am, then went dead or was turned off. Police searched the house but couldn’t find the phone.

Ethan Bates and both of Andrea’s children’s fathers have been cleared as suspects by police, though police haven’t officially confirmed this regarding Bates.

Before disappearing, Andrea worked for Humana but was unemployed at the time. She was dealing with tough times: her car was totaled, and her family was concerned about her mental health and wanted her to get counseling, which she opposed. She was a member of “Missing in America,” a group that helps find missing people—a friend who founded the group says they were close.

Since her disappearance, there’s been no activity on her bank accounts. Her family says her absence is out of character, especially since she was devoted to her children. The case remains unsolved.
