- Baby Angel went missing in Huntington, West Virginia, sometime around May 1, 2021. Her father, Shannon Overstreet, had custody of her at the time.
On May 24th, Child Protective Services (CPS) reported Angel missing. Shannon claimed he’d given Angel to two CPS workers two weeks earlier, but CPS had no record of this. He couldn’t prove it happened.
Around the same time, police arrested Shannon for severely beating his own mother. He has a history of violence.
Police searched Angel’s mother’s house and a pond on Shannon’s property, but found nothing. Angel’s mother doesn’t seem to know what happened.
While police are suspicious of Shannon, they don’t have enough evidence to charge him with Angel’s disappearance. No one knows what happened to her.
