- Distinguishing Characteristics Biracial (Asian/Caucasian) female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Abbrederis has a scar on one of her hips, a butterfly tattoo on her right hip, and breast implants. She may use the aliases Angela Kim Marie Abbrederis, Angela Kimmarie Ng, Mei Ling, Audra Abbrederis, and/or Vanessa Abbrederis. Some agencies give her race as Hispanic.

- On April 2, 1996, Abbrederis vanished from her Dallas apartment. She left everything behind: her car, clothes, luggage, keys, even her dog was left alone. Laundry was unfinished – things she wouldn’t normally leave undone. Red marks near the door looked like blood, but turned out to be paint.
After she disappeared, her boyfriend took money from her accounts and a car, claiming he owned it all. While suspicious, police didn’t think this alone made him a killer.
Abbrederis worked as an exotic dancer, and had a past conviction for prostitution. Because of her job, police initially weren’t sure if she’d been harmed or simply left.
She’d been in the Army, married (1990-1995), and was close to her mom and sister in Michigan, but not her father in Hong Kong.
Her disappearance remains a mystery, and police believe foul play was involved.
