- Angela disappeared on September 10, 1993. She was last seen around 1:00 a.m. talking to her ex-boyfriend at a Pizza Hut in Petal, Mississippi. He was the father of her unborn child, but didn’t want to be involved.
Later that morning, her car was found abandoned at the Old Mahned Bridge. The car windows were down, and there was Angela’s blood inside and near the vehicle. One of her shoes was found nearby, the other near a locked gate. Her purse and keys were missing. The river was searched, but her body was never found.
Because she’d recently made a car payment, a layaway purchase, and bought groceries, and left behind a paycheck, it’s unlikely she ran away.
Police initially thought she had run away, but now suspect foul play. Angela’s family believes a man seen washing his truck in Gulfport (after hunting near the bridge) may be involved, but he’s never been identified.
The case remains unsolved, and Angela’s family continues to seek answers. They believe she was murdered.
