After her parents divorced, she and her brothers lived in Texas with an aunt for a while, then moved back to California to live with their mom, and later with their dad and stepmother. Everyone who knew her said she was a good kid.
In 1985, Angelica was in junior high and had an older boyfriend. She argued with her dad about him and left home. Her dad and stepmother thought she’d gone to a friend’s house and would be back soon, but she wasn’t. Days later, they reported her missing. The police checked her friend’s house, but the family had moved.
Angelica has never been found. For many years, she was considered a runaway, but she’s not considered to be in danger. Her dad and stepmother still live in the same house, hoping she’ll return. The mystery of what happened to Angelica remains unsolved.
