- On August 21, 2011, Mr. Villegas disappeared. He left his home in Alton, Texas at 4:00 a.m. Around 9:00 a.m., he called 911 at least fifteen times from a bushy area near Butterfly Park in Mission, Texas. He said he was being chased or kidnapped by a group of people who were in the country illegally. This area is off Inspiration Road, just south of Military Highway.
