- Distinguishing Characteristics African-American female. Black hair, brown eyes. Parham wears prescription eyeglasses with gray rims; one of the rims is cracked and was glued together. Her ears are pierced.
- Details of Disappearance:
- Eighteen-year-old Parham disappeared from her home in Dickinson, Texas on May 22, 2018, the day before her high school graduation. She left for school on foot, even though her sister offered her a ride. Parham never arrived at school and hasn’t been seen since.
Parham was described as trusting and naive, perhaps more immature than other 18-year-olds. She left behind all her belongings, including her phone and asthma inhaler (which is unusual, as she always carried it). There was no note.
Investigators learned Parham had been seeing a much older man in the neighborhood, Armando “Neco” Cruz, who had been giving her money. Cruz, who has a history of drug and sex trafficking offenses, picked her up in his black Nissan Altima the morning she vanished. He moved to New Braunfels, Texas after Parham disappeared.
Both Cruz and his brother, Oscar, are suspects. Oscar allegedly confessed to killing Parham to a friend. Police are investigating both brothers.
While Parham had run away before, it was never for long and she always took her asthma medicine. Her sister fears she’s still alive but in danger. The case remains unsolved.
