Details of Disappearance:
On February 23, 1978, a woman named Chamberlin disappeared in Eugene, Oregon. She was last seen leaving the hospital between 10 and 11 a.m. after nursing her newborn baby, who was still in the hospital. She’d called a friend with good news – the baby could go home after 1:30 p.m.

But Chamberlin never showed up. Her mother reported her missing the next day. Later that morning, her purse was found on the University of Oregon campus, and her car, a blue 1966 Mercury Comet, was found near the hospital. She wasn’t in the car.

Chamberlin was going through a divorce, and her older two daughters lived with their father. She was a well-liked employee and a loving mother who wouldn’t have abandoned her three children. Her disappearance is a mystery and remains unsolved.
