Details of Disappearance:: On July 4th, 1978, 11-year-old Beverly disappeared from her home in Junction City, Kansas. She was sleeping in her bedroom with a friend. The family went to look at a fight across the street in the early morning (between 3 and 5 am). When they came back, Beverly was gone. Her bedroom window screen had been cut and was outside. She left behind her clothes and $12 she was saving for camp. Police think someone took her from her room. No one in Beverly’s family is suspected, but there aren’t many clues about what happened.
