- Hammonds vanished from Lumberton, North Carolina on November 26, 2016. His family didn’t report him missing until December 9th. Then, in April 2022, his body was found buried in someone’s backyard in Red Springs, North Carolina. Police say he was murdered, but they haven’t said exactly how he died. The investigation is still ongoing.
