Jones was a local polka musician, but he stopped playing after he vanished. He’d canceled some gigs before disappearing, but there was no sign of trouble at his home.

Police think he had a car accident. They found tire tracks leading from the road to the Colorado River near where he worked. Later, they found his car – a red 1993 Chevrolet Lumina – in the river. The strong currents have made it too dangerous to recover the car or search for his body, which is believed to be inside. They don’t think anyone did anything wrong to him.
