- Details of Disappearance:
- Bonifacio disappeared in Portage, Michigan on May 19, 2018. He was with his friend Nicholas Johnson. They left a house together, but Nicholas came back alone later that day, saying Bonifacio had left with some unknown people. Nicholas was acting nervous and had Bonifacio’s bandana. Bonifacio was never seen or heard from again.
Later, in February 2021, Nicholas’s parents were murdered. Police found signs of violence at their home, and their bodies were discovered later. Nicholas was arrested and charged with their murder. He had a history of violence against them.
Because of Nicholas’s suspicious behavior around Bonifacio’s disappearance and his violent actions against his parents, police think he may be involved in Bonifacio’s disappearance too. However, he hasn’t been charged with anything related to Bonifacio’s case. Since Bonifacio wasn’t the type to disappear without a word, police believe he is likely dead, but they still haven’t solved his case.
