Details of Disappearance:: Sturgill and her friend Shirlee disappeared on October 25, 2020, after leaving Litchfield, California, for Wendel, California in a white 2002 Toyota RAV4 (license plate 6NWD443). Their car was found abandoned in Nevada on November 10th. Shirlee was found dead inside the car; her death wasn’t considered suspicious. Sturgill was not with her, and nobody knows what happened to her. The car had a flat tire, the hood was up, and someone had spelled “HELP” on the ground with things from inside the car.
