Later that day, his yellow 2003 Chevrolet Tracker (license plate 247BNN) was found abandoned and unlocked on Highway 449 near Tung Oil Road in Pine Grove, Louisiana. The car’s hazard lights were flashing, but Stephens wasn’t there. Not much is known about what happened to him.
