- Details of Disappearance:
- On November 16, 2016, Mr. Martinez disappeared from Rosamond, California. He left in his white 2012 Nissan Frontier pickup truck (license plate 8XT3227) around 4:30 PM. Because of dementia, he’d forgotten he was retired and thought he might have to work.
His family was able to reach him on his phone for a few days after he vanished. The last time they talked to him (November 23rd), he told a niece he was driving to South Los Angeles, but he never got there.
He might have gone to Tucson, Arizona, where he’d lived for 20 years. The police haven’t been able to find him, and his disappearance is still a mystery.
