- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian female. Brown hair, blue eyes. Roberts wears wire-framed eyeglasses and contact lenses. She has a scar on her neck about three and a half inches long, and a blue-colored dot on her right forearm.
- Details of Disappearance:
- In August 1976, Roberts disappeared from her home in Sanford, Florida. She was last seen leaving with a white man in her yellow Corvette.
Six days later, the man got a traffic ticket in California, but police don’t know if Roberts was with him. He later said they argued, and she left the Corvette somewhere in Arizona (either Red Bluff or Red Rock). He then drove back to Florida alone.
The Corvette was eventually returned to Roberts’s family, who gave it back to the company they financed it through. Her mother, who lived in Tallahassee, reported her missing.
The man has never helped police solve the mystery of what happened to Roberts, and her disappearance remains a cold case.
