- Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Black hair, brown eyes. Fischer’s nickname is Chip. He had a mustache and full beard at the time of his disappearance.
- Details of Disappearance:
- On June 12, 2018, Fischer disappeared. He was last seen at his New Orleans home around 12:30 PM. He told someone he was going to Walmart in Metairie after visiting an electronics store. He texted that he’d arrived at Walmart around 1:30 PM, but he never came home.
Fischer was driving a gray 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara (license plate 838ATE), which belonged to his roommate. A traffic camera spotted the car on Read Boulevard, but later it was found burned and abandoned in New Orleans East, near the Rigolets. There was no sign of Fischer at the scene. The police haven’t solved the mystery of what happened to him.
