Her hair was dyed blonde at the time of her disappearance. Her ears are pierced.

Details of Disappearance:

Cassie disappeared from Stuttgart, Arkansas on September 14, 2014, after 6 p.m. She’d been at a demolition derby earlier that day. When she got home, her mom was sick in bed, and her mom’s fiancé, Brandon Rhodes, was there. Minutes later, Cassie left again, taking her black LG phone (but no charger). She never came back.

There are different stories about what happened next. One says Cassie told her mom she was going to the store. Another says she texted her mom that she was going for a cigarette, around the same time Rhodes said he was going out for cigarettes. Importantly, Rhodes took his girlfriend’s car (he didn’t have a license), was gone for hours, and threw up when he returned.

Rhodes and Cassie didn’t get along, and he’s a suspect. He and Cassie’s mom broke up shortly after Cassie vanished. Rhodes has been in jail several times since then, but police haven’t said if they have proof he was involved in Cassie’s disappearance. In a 2019 interview, he claimed he didn’t see Cassie after she returned home that night.

Cassie was unusual in leaving without a word; she and her mom always stayed in touch. Cassie was homeschooled and working on her GED. Her dad lived in Oklahoma. The case is still unsolved.
