Details of Disappearance:
In February 1998, Wallace vanished from her home in Grants Pass, Oregon. She left behind her purse, clothes, and personal photos. Her husband said she just disappeared, and he didn’t report her missing. Her father, who lived elsewhere, reported her missing four months later.

Things got suspicious: her husband had her Social Security card and her driver’s license (but the picture was cut out). Police found stained clothes and sheets in the woods that *might* have been connected to her disappearance, but tests couldn’t confirm if the stains were blood.

Wallace’s van was later found abandoned in California. Her husband claimed he couldn’t afford to get it back, even though his belongings were inside. He was unemployed and had a history of drunk driving. Two guns that were usually in the van were gone.

Because of all these strange things, police think Wallace was murdered, and her husband is a person of interest. However, no one has been arrested or charged with a crime.
