- On August 7, 1980, Moch disappeared in Santa Barbara, California. Nobody has heard from her since. Her car, a small AMC Gremlin, was later found abandoned in the mountains near Santa Barbara. Police searched thoroughly but couldn’t find her. Before she vanished, Moch had finished high school and college, and was a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, while also working at a restaurant. The mystery of what happened to her remains unsolved.
