- On October 20, 2020, seven people went seal hunting in Alaska. They started in Quinhagak, in a small, open aluminum boat with a motor. They picked up more people along the way. The boat was last seen near Eek Island. The hunters never came back, and a search didn’t find them. It’s believed they had an accident and drowned, but their bodies have never been found.
