- Details of Disappearance:
- On February 18, 1937, a man named Hurd disappeared in New York City. He worked in real estate on Williams Street and left work as normal. That evening, he had dinner and drinks, cashed a check, and then crashed his Ford car into a support pillar of an elevated train. Even though he seemed only slightly hurt and drove away, he vanished and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. He was separated from his wife at the time. The police never solved the mystery of what happened to him.
