- On September 27, 2022, Kaiser went hiking near Lander, Wyoming. He started out on a short, half-mile trail to a fire lookout tower, but went ahead without waiting for his friend who was still getting ready. When his friend finally caught up half an hour later, Kaiser was gone and hasn’t been seen since. A big search was done, but nobody found any sign of him.
