- John Simmons, a gem dealer from Tucson, Arizona, vanished on January 14, 2004, just before a big gem show. He’d recently returned from a mining trip. His truck was found abandoned a few days later, but there were no signs of a fight. His bank accounts haven’t been touched since he disappeared.
His family thinks he was murdered, though police haven’t found proof. One person owed Simmons a lot of money—over $100,000—and Simmons had talked to a lawyer about it before he went missing.
