- On January 19, 1990, Hankins disappeared. She was last seen at the Burlington, Vermont airport after arriving from California. Her bags were delayed, but she never picked them up. After a divorce, she became obsessed with Elvis Presley, believing he would meet her in Vermont and they would marry. She left California without saying goodbye to her sons. No one has heard from her since, and there’s been no activity on her accounts. The police still don’t know what happened to her.
