- Details of Disappearance:
- On August 20, 2017, Slinger disappeared. She left her mom’s house in Massillon, Ohio with her ex-boyfriend, Steven Stafford. He said he dropped her off at a mobile home park in Magnolia, Ohio, but she never came home to her two young children.
Stafford, the father of Slinger’s eight-year-old daughter, was questioned by police. He was supposed to take a lie detector test but killed himself before he could. He left a note saying he loved his daughter.
Police and Slinger’s mom think Stafford might have killed Slinger because she was dating a registered sex offender, and he wanted custody of their daughter. But there’s no proof he did anything wrong. Slinger’s family says she would never disappear without telling anyone.
The case is still a mystery.
