- In April 1989, a woman named Sexton vanished. The last time anyone saw her was after 2 a.m. on either April 16th or 17th, leaving a bar in Turlock, California. She left with friends and was seen talking to a man in the parking lot before driving away in her own car.
Ten days later, her car was found in an irrigation canal. Her keys were in the ignition, and some of her things were inside, but her purse was gone. Nobody has ever seen or heard from her since.
Police think she was murdered, possibly because of her connections to drug dealers. They believe they know who did it, but haven’t been able to make an arrest. The case remains unsolved.
