- Details of Disappearance:
- On April 11, 1990, a bartender named Fawcett disappeared in Scotts Valley, California. She’d spent the day with a friend, James Collier, riding motorcycles and playing pool. That evening, Collier drove her to get her truck from her workplace, the Friendly Fox bar. He dropped her off a short distance away around 9:30 pm. She was never seen again.
Her truck was still parked at the bar the next morning, and her purse, ID, paycheck, and pool cue were inside. This, along with the fact she never picked up tickets to a Las Vegas pool tournament, suggests she didn’t leave willingly.
Fawcett was a reliable person, and while she was having relationship problems with her long-term boyfriend, police believe she was likely abducted. She hasn’t used her money or cards since disappearing. Collier has always cooperated with the police and is not a suspect.
Despite the investigation, no suspects or clues were ever found, and Fawcett’s disappearance remains a mystery.
