Details of Disappearance:
Tim Quayle disappeared in Montana. He was last seen in Bozeman on June 6th, 1978. Because he liked to travel spontaneously, nobody reported him missing until September.

In October, his brown 1976 Volkswagen was found abandoned on a road near Norris, Montana. It looked like it had been there for a while—people had seen it as early as July. The car was locked, the parking brake was on, and there were no recent tire tracks. There were some dark stains (berry juice, not blood) and fast food wrappers inside, but no camping gear or valuables. The keys were found a short distance away.

Despite searching, no one has ever found Quayle. He was declared legally dead in 1989, and his mother managed his money. The mystery of what happened to him remains unsolved.
