- Prater disappeared from Natchez, Mississippi, sometime in early January 2008. He lived at a boarding house. His landlord noticed he hadn’t been seen for over a week and called Prater’s mom on January 10th. His mom then reported him missing. His room was normal, nothing was stolen except his medication. Prater was a quiet, friendly person with few friends, and he usually walked everywhere. His family worried that someone might have taken advantage of him because he was so trusting. Not much is known about what happened to him.
