- Dagmar and Robert Linton, a retired couple from California, vanished on August 22, 1986, while traveling to an expo in Vancouver, Canada. They stopped at a campground in Brinnon, Washington, and went for a day trip to Mount Baker. They never came back.
Their truck was found abandoned at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, with blood and hair inside. Police think they were murdered by Charles Sinclair, a serial killer who robbed and killed about 13 people. Sinclair used the Lintons’ credit cards after they disappeared, and some of the things he bought were found at his place. Although police suspected Sinclair, he died before he could be charged with their murder. Dagmar and Robert’s bodies have never been found.
